KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Assistant Brand Manager – Nutrition will support the execution of brand strategy, product management, campaign planning, and budget tracking to ensure the continued growth of Nestlé’s nutrition product portfolio.
1. Strategic Brand Support

Collaborate with the Brand Manager to implement short- and long-term brand strategies, policies, and KPIs.

Participate in strategic brand planning and periodic performance reviews.

Contribute to development of brand positioning, messaging, and promotional goals.
2. Product & Communication Development
-
Assist with the launch and relaunch of nutrition products, including packaging, pricing, and consumer targeting.

Coordinate development of ATL and BTL communication assets, from creative briefs to campaign rollout.

Liaise with advertising and media agencies to ensure on-brand execution.
3. Promotion Management
-
Support the creation, implementation, and tracking of promotional campaigns, trade activities, and shopper marketing events.

Evaluate post-promotion results to measure ROI and impact.

Collaborate with field teams and retail partners to align on executional excellence.
4. Market Intelligence & Analysis
-
Gather and interpret competitor intelligence, consumer insights, and industry trends.

Conduct periodic field visits to understand customer behavior, shelf performance, and regional variations.

Analyze market research data and recommend adjustments to marketing plans based on insights.
5. Budget Monitoring
-
Assist in monitoring brand budgets, ensuring efficient use of financial resources.

Support in budget forecasting, expense reconciliation, and variance analysis.

Ensure all marketing spend aligns with brand objectives and procurement guidelines.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
-
Liaise with sales teams, supply chain, and factory planning teams to ensure product availability and launch readiness.

Work closely with regulatory and legal teams to ensure communication and products are compliant with local standards.

Maintain alignment across internal stakeholders on project status and brand priorities.
7. Project Management

Define project timelines, milestones, and responsibilities.

Prepare project proposals, Gantt charts, and budget estimates for brand activities.

Track progress and communicate updates to stakeholders regularly.
8. Reporting and Performance Reviews

Assist with the preparation of monthly brand performance reports, highlighting achievements, gaps, and solutions.

Develop dashboards for tracking KPIs such as sales volume, brand equity, market share, and campaign ROI.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Education Requirements
-
A Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields from a recognized institution.
Work Experience
-
12–18 months of classical brand management experience in a multinational FMCG or pharmaceutical company.
Technical Skills

Strong understanding of project lifecycle management

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Basic knowledge of financial statements, P&L interpretation, and budgeting tools
-
Familiarity with marketing platforms and data dashboards (e.g., Nielsen, Kantar, Google Analytics)
