KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Regional Sales Manager will be the cornerstone of sales execution in the Western and Nyanza region. This territory is critical for national revenue performance and offers ample room for innovation and growth.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Lead the field sales strategy for HACO’s portfolio within general and modern trade in Western Kenya.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a high-performing team across FMCG sales jobs in Eldoret and the larger Nyanza region.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers, ensuring market penetration and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with national and regional marketing teams to roll out localized promotional strategies and sales campaigns.
  • Conduct regular market visits to assess brand visibility and competitor activity in Western Kenya jobs segments.
  • Manage territory budgets and ensure cost-effective route-to-market execution.
  • Provide timely sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates to the National Sales Manager.
  • Support product launches and assist in tailoring brand messaging to the regional consumer base.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Academic and Professional Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a sales manager job in Kenya within the FMCG sector.

  • Proven leadership experience managing field sales teams.
  • A solid background in general trade sales jobs in Kenya, particularly in regions like Eldoret, Kisumu, Bungoma, and surrounding areas.
