VACANCY 1: WAITER (4 POSITIONS)

Key Responsibilities:

• Take guest orders promptly and accurately, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages, maintaining professional etiquette and attention to detail.
• Ensure tables are clean and well set, maintaining dining areas in accordance with hygiene standards.
• Upsell menu items, making thoughtful recommendations to increase customer satisfaction and boost revenue.
• Process bills and handle payments, ensuring correct billing procedures and cash management.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a polite and efficient manner.
• Work in collaboration with kitchen and bar staff, ensuring smooth service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with food handling, safety, and health guidelines at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Certificate or diploma in hospitality, food & beverage service, or a related field is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in a lounge, hotel, or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Kiswahili.
• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and under pressure, especially during peak business hours.
• Team player, enthusiastic, and reliable with a good attitude and professional appearance.
• Customer-centric mindset, with a genuine desire to enhance the guest experience.

VACANCY 2: STEWARD (3 POSITIONS)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and service areas, including dishwashing, mopping, and sanitization.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and service ware efficiently and hygienically.
• Assist with basic kitchen prep work, such as fetching ingredients or organizing storage.
• Ensure availability of clean cutlery and tableware, supporting smooth front-of-house operations.
• Dispose of kitchen waste appropriately, following hygiene protocols and waste segregation guidelines.
• Restock cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when inventory is low.
• Adhere strictly to hygiene, health, and safety standards as per hospitality industry protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:

• No formal education required, though a background in housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality is a plus.
• Physical stamina, with the ability to work standing for long hours and lift heavy items safely.
• Attention to detail, especially in ensuring cleanliness and hygiene.
• Good attitude, dependable and respectful in both solo and team-oriented tasks.
• Flexible with work shifts, including weekends and late nights.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning agents and safety procedures is an added advantage.
