KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in daily shop operations, including opening, closing, cleaning, and restocking duties.
• Support sales processes by engaging with customers, promoting products, and providing recommendations based on customer needs.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets, working proactively to convert walk-ins into loyal customers.
• Participate in field promotions, activations, and brand campaigns, representing the Denri brand professionally in and outside the shop.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Support inventory management, including tagging products, conducting stock counts, and identifying low-stock items.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensuring the shop is appealing, well-arranged, and consistent with brand guidelines.
• Promote customer loyalty programs and encourage repeat business through outstanding service.
• Provide feedback to supervisors regarding customer preferences, stock performance, or shop needs.
• Follow all operational procedures and adhere to safety and hygiene protocols within the shop premises.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Previous retail experience in a shop, boutique, supermarket, or customer-facing sales environment is required.
• Proven sales capabilities, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding set sales targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect easily with diverse customers.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage time effectively in busy retail settings.
• A team player with a proactive attitude, ready to step in and support team operations wherever needed.
• Familiarity with POS systems, digital payment methods, and basic record-keeping is an added advantage.
• Fluency in English and Kiswahili, both written and spoken, is essential.
• Physically fit and energetic, able to handle shop restocking, promotions, and on-the-ground activations.
• Flexible to work weekends, public holidays, or in rotating shifts, as per operational needs.
