OPEN POSITIONS & ROLE OVERVIEWS

1. Supervisors

Supervisors at Jamlok oversee daily shift operations, ensure service consistency, and manage teams on the floor or in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate team schedules and shift handovers
Monitor guest satisfaction and intervene in escalations
Enforce hygiene and safety policies
Oversee stock availability and reorder levels
Mentor new staff

Ideal Candidate: 2+ years in supervisory hospitality role; experience with staff management and POS systems

2. Bartenders

Join a high-energy bar where creativity and speed go hand in hand. Bartenders are responsible for drink preparation, customer interaction, and bar cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

Mix cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
Engage customers and suggest menu items
Handle cash and card payments
Maintain bar hygiene and restock supplies

Ideal Candidate: Prior bar experience, knowledge of cocktail recipes, flair bartending a bonus

3. Cashiers

Cashiers are the final touchpoint in customer satisfaction—processing payments quickly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

Issue receipts and manage daily transactions
Balance cash drawers
Support order verification and customer billing inquiries

Ideal Candidate: Excellent numeracy, basic accounting knowledge, familiarity with billing software

4. Waiters / Waitresses

As the face of Jamlok, waiters and waitresses provide table service, interact with customers, and ensure a great dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Take orders and serve food and drinks
Upsell specials and promotions
Clear tables and reset for next guests
Handle guest concerns

Ideal Candidate: 2 years’ experience in F&B service, customer-oriented personality

5. Cocktails & Cowgirls

A unique Jamlok feature—these are brand ambassadors who serve specialty cocktails and add flair to the nightlife scene.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve house cocktails
Support themed event activations
Entertain and engage guests

Ideal Candidate: Energetic, personable, performance-friendly. Experience in bar events or nightlife a plus

6. Stewards

Stewards are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and kitchen support.

Key Responsibilities:

Wash utensils, cutlery, and cookware
Maintain kitchen hygiene
Support chefs with ingredients and plating

Ideal Candidate: Prior kitchen assistant experience or fast learner with good stamina

7. Pool Attendants

Ensure guest safety and pool hygiene in the leisure section.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor pool area for safety
Enforce rules and first aid readiness
Support guest seating and poolside service

Ideal Candidate: Lifeguard training preferred

8. Chefs

Lead food preparation in collaboration with kitchen teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Cook meals per recipe and guest requests
Supervise kitchen assistants
Ensure food safety and presentation

Ideal Candidate: Culinary school graduate with 2+ years in restaurant kitchens

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR ALL POSITIONS

At least 2 years of experience in a related hospitality role
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, late-hour environments
Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and night shifts
Must be a team player, clean, and punctual
Knowledge of food safety, customer service, or bar operations depending on the role
