CURRENT JOB OPENINGS
M-Gas is currently recruiting for the following roles across multiple counties:
Vacancy 1: Technical Sales Representative (TSR) – Eldoret & Kisumu
Job Purpose:
The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) is responsible for acquiring new customers, training them on smart meter usage, and ensuring high-quality onboarding experiences. This is a field-based role and involves close interaction with prospective customers in the target region.
Key Responsibilities:

Sign up new households for M-Gas LPG services in the assigned territory
-
Onboard customers by vetting, educating, and training them on smart meter usage and safety protocols
-
Conduct door-to-door sales campaigns and activate customer accounts using the M-Gas platform
-
Resolve customer queries promptly and escalate technical complaints where necessary
-
Ensure adherence to M-Gas standard operating procedures and customer engagement policies
-
Provide accurate records of daily sales, installations, and feedback from the field
-
Monitor smart meter functionality and follow up with customers for usage and satisfaction
-
Conduct safety audits during and after cylinder installations
Qualifications and Skills:
-
Diploma or Certificate in Sales, Marketing, Technical Training, or a related field
-
At least 2 years’ field sales experience, preferably in the energy or FMCG sector
-
Proficient in use of smartphones and customer tracking apps
-
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
-
Good understanding of local customer dynamics in Eldoret or Kisumu
-
Demonstrated ability to meet targets and work under minimal supervision
Vacancy 2: Rider (LT) – Kisumu, Migori, Kakamega, Eldoret, Kitale, Nairobi
Job Purpose:
The Rider (LT) plays a key logistical support role by ensuring timely delivery of LPG cylinders and company assets to customers, while assisting the technical team in smart meter installation and routine maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver M-Gas assets (LPG cylinders, smart meters, equipment) to customer premises safely
-
Assist Technical Sales and MTSR staff in installations and basic meter troubleshooting
-
Conduct daily checks on motorbike condition and report any mechanical issues
-
Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and uphold a professional company image
-
Log delivery records and obtain customer confirmations for each trip
-
Adhere to inventory management protocols and secure company tools/materials
-
Provide customer support on minor operational issues when required
-
Serve as the first point of contact for same-day deliveries or maintenance reruns
Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum KCSE Certificate
-
Valid motorbike driving license (Class F or G)
-
Minimum 1-year experience as a rider in a logistics or delivery role
-
Physically fit and available for full-day field work
-
Familiarity with assigned areas (Kisumu, Migori, Kakamega, Eldoret, Kitale, or Nairobi)
-
Excellent communication and organizational skills
-
Must own or be willing to operate a company-assigned motorbike under safety guidelines
Vacancy 3: Sales Rider / Motorized Technical Service Representative (MTSR) – Nairobi, Kisumu, Migori, Kakamega, Eldoret, Kitale
Job Purpose:
The MTSR is a hybrid role combining sales, customer service, technical installation, and delivery functions. The role demands multitasking abilities, with a strong focus on expanding customer base and retaining active clients using the M-Gas smart solution.
Key Responsibilities:

Sign up and onboard new customers through field visits using the Smart Sale App
-
Deliver LPG cylinders to both new and existing customers on-demand
-
Offer technical support on smart meter installation, usage, and problem resolution
-
Train customers on safety guidelines, contract terms, and meter refilling procedures
-
Handle complaints and follow up with customers on satisfaction and retention
-
Maintain a daily record of customer acquisition, delivery routes, and technical issues
-
Collaborate with sales and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery
-
Ensure adherence to M-Gas safety, performance, and customer experience standards
Qualifications and Skills:
-
Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, or related field
-
Must possess a valid rider’s license
-
Previous experience as a sales rider, field agent, or technician is an added advantage
-
Basic technical aptitude to learn meter installation procedures
-
Customer-centric attitude and strong problem-solving abilities

Good command of English and Kiswahili

Familiarity with field-based sales tracking systems or mobile CRM tools
