VACANCY 1: Splicing Technician

Department: Engineering
Job Type: Contract

Role Purpose

To perform splicing of fiber optic cables in both outdoor and indoor environments. The technician will also maintain and document fiber network paths and ensure quality splicing aligned with project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Splice single and multi-strand fiber optic cables using fusion or mechanical splicing methods.
• Interpret splicing schematics and engineering documentation.
• Install and maintain network equipment and terminal boxes.
• Maintain splicing documentation, field notes, and cable test results.
• Conduct fiber continuity and loss testing using OTDR and power meters.
• Perform troubleshooting and emergency restorations as required.
• Maintain site cleanliness, safety compliance, and tool control.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fiber splicing roles.
• Familiarity with OTDR, light source, power meter, fusion splicers.
• Strong knowledge of outside plant (OSP) cabling standards.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across regions.

VACANCY 2: Assistant Splicing Technician

Role Purpose

To provide technical support to lead splicing technicians in the preparation, installation, and documentation of fiber optic cabling works. The assistant technician plays a vital role in pre-installation, cable routing, and post-installation testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in stripping, cleaving, and cleaning fiber cables.
• Aid in labeling fiber routes and preparing fiber enclosures.
• Carry splicing tools, materials, and test equipment to field locations.
• Maintain daily field logs and support field inspections.
• Ensure safe setup and demobilization of job sites.
• Coordinate logistics and report material shortages.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate or Diploma in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in a fiber optics or related technical field.
• Basic knowledge of splicing tools, fiber handling, and testing equipment.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in diverse environments.

VACANCY 3: Fixed Sales Supervisor

Role Purpose

To oversee and coordinate the sales activities of a field-based team to meet JTL’s broadband and fixed-line service targets. The Sales Supervisor will focus on growing the customer base, driving team productivity, and maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily performance of field sales agents in designated regions.
• Train, coach, and support new sales recruits.
• Monitor sales targets and reporting metrics.
• Organize promotional events, activations, and local awareness campaigns.
• Resolve customer queries and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Ensure timely order processing, documentation, and handover to technical teams.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in field sales.
• Proven track record in telecom, ISP, or FMCG sectors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and CRM systems.
