INTRODUCTION
The Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC), a premier public media training institution and a statutory corporation under the Government of Kenya, is pleased to announce 9 new job vacancies for qualified Kenyan citizens. These opportunities cut across multiple departments including academic affairs, accounting, human resource management, food services, driving, electrical and electronic support, and administrative roles.
Established in 1961 and formalized under Legal Notice No. 197 of 2011 (as amended), KIMC provides training at postgraduate, diploma, and certificate levels. The institution serves as the backbone of Kenya’s public and private sector communication workforce, shaping professionals in journalism, radio and television broadcasting, film production, and public relations.

1. Senior Deputy Director – Academic Affairs

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership in curriculum development, academic administration, and institutional accreditation.
- Oversee training program implementation and quality assurance across departments.
- Coordinate teaching staff performance evaluation and professional development.
- Represent the academic division in institutional governance committees.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Mass Communication, Education Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated capacity in curriculum development, teaching methodology, and institutional planning.
2. Human Resource Management & Development Officer I
