- Position: Industrial Attachment Trainee
- Location: Kenya (Various Departments)
- Type of Job: Industrial Attachment (Full-Time)
- Duration: 3 Months (May – July 2025)
- Eligibility: Continuing students pursuing Degree, Diploma, or Craft Certificate programs in specified fields

Successful applicants will gain direct experience in various operational departments within Kenya Power, working under the supervision of experienced professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Selected candidates will be attached to different departments based on their areas of study. Their responsibilities may include:
- Assisting in routine department operations under supervision
- Gaining practical knowledge of industry standards, tools, and procedures
- Participating in hands-on tasks related to electrical, mechanical, automotive, civil engineering, and plumbing fields
- Engaging in assigned projects and contributing innovative ideas
- Observing safety protocols and operational guidelines within the work environment
- Preparing reports and documentation based on work experiences
- Collaborating with team members to support organizational goals
- Attending training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programs as required
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a continuing student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Craft Certificate in one of the following fields:
- Technical Fields: Electrical & Electronics Engineering (Power Option), Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, Building & Civil Engineering, Plumbing
- Non-Technical Fields: Business Administration, Finance, Procurement, Human Resource, ICT, Marketing, Communication, and other related areas
- Must be available for the full attachment period (May – July 2025)
- Must have a valid introduction letter from their learning institution
Desired Skills and Competencies:
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Basic knowledge of industry tools and software relevant to the field of study
