ABOUT NOMAD HEALTH INITIATIVE
Nomad Health Initiative is a nonprofit organization that works at the intersection of healthcare access, grassroots education, and community empowerment across marginalized and underserved regions in Kenya. Founded on the belief that everyone deserves access to quality health information and care, the organization delivers sustainable solutions through health outreach, digital campaigns, partnerships, and community-based education.
With growing visibility in both rural communities and online spaces, Nomad Health Initiative relies heavily on social media to amplify its mission, engage partners, and mobilize youth around critical health issues. This internship role will support the digital backbone of the organization, bringing public health stories, updates, and campaigns to life across platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
The organization’s core values include transparency, youth inclusion, sustainability, cultural respect, and evidence-based health education. As part of its growth strategy in 2025, Nomad Health Initiative is investing in a new wave of digital health storytellers and creatives who can communicate with heart, facts, and authenticity.

You will work closely with the Communications and Programs Team to:
-
Plan and Schedule Content
Develop monthly content calendars aligned with health observances, campaigns, and project timelines. Propose new content ideas based on audience trends and platform metrics. -
Create Engaging Visual Assets
Design graphics and social cards using tools such as Canva, Adobe Spark, or Photoshop. These include posters, infographics, quote cards, carousels, and reels. -
Write Captions and Stories
