Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Intern, you will:
- Support the operation and maintenance of the Malindi Solar Power Plant.
- Participate in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
- Contribute to ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Provide administrative and technical support where required.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
Essential Qualifications:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with EBK and IEK as a Graduate Engineer.
- Graduation or course completion within the last three years.
Essential Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office software.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- A valid police clearance certificate.
Preferred Attributes:
- Enthusiasm for renewable energy projects.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
