ABOUT THE COMPETITION AUTHORITY OF KENYA (CAK)

Headquartered in Nairobi, the Competition Authority of Kenya operates as an independent market regulator and enforcer of competition law. The agency monitors, investigates, and intervenes in matters concerning mergers, monopolies, restrictive trade practices, and consumer protection. Its strategic pillars include:

SECTION I: GRADUATE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM – MAY 2025 INTAKE

The CAK Graduate Internship Program is a flagship talent development initiative designed to bridge the gap between academic training and the professional job market. Successful candidates will undergo a 12-month immersive internship across various departments, receiving mentorship and participating in live projects that contribute to the Authority’s regulatory goals.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be a Kenyan citizen under 35 years of age.
  • Must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized institution.
  • Must NOT have previously benefited from CAK’s Internship or Young Professionals programs.
  • Must submit a complete application including all required documents.
