Key Responsibilities
As an Electric Forklift and Reach Truck Operator, your main duties will include:
- Operating electric forklifts and reach trucks to load, unload, and transport inventory safely and efficiently.
- Conducting pre-operational checks to ensure the equipment is in excellent working condition.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and updating the warehouse management system.
- Following safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Assisting in the organization and optimization of warehouse spaces for maximum efficiency.
- Reporting any malfunctions or irregularities in the machinery to the maintenance team.
- Coordinating with warehouse personnel to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Adhering to the company’s logistics and transportation schedules.
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following:
Required Qualifications
- Certificate in Forklift Operation and Safety.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience operating forklifts and reach trucks in a busy warehouse.
- Valid driving license with no history of violations.

- Strong understanding of inventory management systems.
