Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative Intern Role
As a Customer Service Representative Intern, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring smooth communication between clients and internal teams. Your key duties include:
1. Customer Interaction and Issue Resolution
- Provide prompt, courteous, and helpful responses to customer inquiries in-person, over the phone, and online.
- Acknowledge, document, and resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Take ownership of customer issues and coordinate with relevant departments for quick resolution.
2. Record Keeping and CRM Management
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM system and other platforms.
- Process customer orders, applications, and service requests while ensuring data accuracy.
- Keep customer records up to date and organized.
3. Reporting and Communication
- Compile and distribute daily reports highlighting customer complaints and engagement metrics.
- Conduct follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction with Fric Technologies’ products and services.
- Identify and escalate system-related issues to technical teams and relevant managers.
4. Support for Technical and Sales Teams
- Schedule customer visits for technicians and sales representatives as needed.
- Provide recommendations to improve customer service, business processes, and CRM systems.
Qualifications and Skills Required
Educational Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in any field (preferably in Business Administration, IT, Communication, or related disciplines).
Professional Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Friendly, patient, and customer-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in computer applications and CRM systems.
- Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
