KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and Expand Distribution Channels: Increase the number of distribution partners and enhance market penetration.
  • Achieve Product Revenue Targets: Implement strategies to meet and exceed sales performance goals.
  • Ensure Profitability: Maintain optimal cost levels while driving business growth.
  • Internal Compliance and Policies: Ensure adherence to established company policies, financial controls, and internal operational standards.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish, cultivate, and strengthen relationships with intermediaries and direct clients.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Oversee an efficient sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Business Reporting: Manage the preparation and presentation of timely, accurate, and high-quality reports.
  • Customer Retention: Ensure timely issuance of renewal notices and proactive follow-ups with clients.
  • Premium Collections: Enforce the company’s Cash & Carry Policy to ensure all premiums are paid upfront.
  • IPF Business Management: Coordinate financing processes in liaison with the finance team.
  • Client and Intermediary Engagement: Represent Old Mutual at client, intermediary, and branch meetings.
  • Customer Support: Resolve client inquiries, manage complaints, and provide timely issue resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Education:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field from a recognized university.
  • Professional certifications/diplomas in Insurance (preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales, financial services, or insurance-related fields.
