This program is designed to equip interns with the necessary practical skills to excel in technical trades such as machine operation, fabrication, maintenance, and electrical engineering.

As an intern, you will gain invaluable industry exposure, receive mentorship from seasoned professionals, and have an opportunity to work on real-world projects in a structured learning environment. Successful interns may be considered for full-time employment based on their performance during the internship.

About the Internship

This internship program provides hands-on training and skill development for NYS graduates interested in technical careers. Interns will be actively involved in production processes, equipment maintenance, and technical problem-solving, allowing them to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional work experience.

Additionally, top-performing interns will be added to the company’s internal talent pool, giving them priority consideration for future employment opportunities.

Available Internship Positions

The organization is currently seeking interns in the following fields:

VACANCY 1: ROUTER MACHINE OPERATOR INTERN (4 Positions)

  • Verify and process artwork for engraving or routing.
  • Maintain and operate the router machine efficiently.
  • Ensure high-quality production output.
  • Monitor machine operations to prevent disruptions.
  • Record and track all jobs done using the router machine.
  • Comply with all safety regulations regarding machine usage.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Machine Operation or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a router machine operator.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.

VACANCY 2: CNC MACHINE OPERATOR – WOODWORK INTERN (3 Positions)

  • Set up and operate CNC machinery for woodwork production.
  • Ensure quality standards are met through monitoring and adjustment.
  • Perform all carpentry-related tasks in the factory.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machines and report major issues.
  • Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate protective equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Certificate in CNC Machinery, Carpentry, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in machine operation or woodworking.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical manuals and blueprints.

VACANCY 3: MAINTENANCE INTERN (5 Positions)

  • Oversee electrical and mechanical maintenance in the facility.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules and troubleshoot issues.
  • Plan and manage spare parts inventory.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Provide technical support for equipment servicing and repairs.
  • Train new technical staff in maintenance procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in machine maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of machine operations and troubleshooting.
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and capable of working independently.

VACANCY 4: FABRICATION INTERN – ARC & MIG WELDING (3 Positions)

  • Cut, shape, and assemble Perspex and metal materials according to design specifications.
  • Operate saws, drills, routers, and welding tools for precision work.
  • Inspect final products to meet quality standards.
  • Join pieces using appropriate adhesives and welding techniques.
  • Maintain and clean fabrication tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Technical training in Mechanical Production, Arc & MIG Fabrication, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety regulations.

VACANCY 5: CNC MACHINE OPERATOR INTERN (5 Positions)

  • Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications.
  • Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and minor repairs.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and quality compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to workplace safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Certificate in CNC Machine Operation or a related field.

VACANCY 6: ELECTRICIAN INTERN (4 Positions)

  • Perform electrical wiring for signage, billboards, offices, and machinery.
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems and tools.
  • Follow technical specifications provided by the production supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards during electrical work.
  • Conduct site inspections to assess material and electrical requirements.
  • Install controls such as timer switches and photocells.
  • Package and prepare signage products for installation.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or a related field.
