This role is critical in ensuring that vehicle service and repairs across our entire dealer network meet industry-leading standards through training, upskilling, and adherence to Isuzu aftersales protocols. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a service operations manual across all Isuzu East Africa dealerships in alignment with Isuzu aftersales and dealer standards.
  • Conduct a skills, tools, and equipment gap analysis across the dealer network.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive capacity improvement plan based on findings.
  • Monitor and continuously improve vehicle service and repair standards across the Isuzu network.
  • Formulate and execute standards deficiency improvement plans.
  • Conduct dealer audits and ensure closure of identified audit gaps in compliance with the Aftersales Policy and Isuzu Dealer Standards (IDS).
  • Develop and update a capacity-building curriculum.
  • Design and implement technical and non-technical training programs to enhance service delivery.
  • Conduct prelaunch training for new products in coordination with the Product Planning Team.
  • Deliver comprehensive training sessions to service personnel.
  • Maintain service operations and training performance metrics to track improvements and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Upper Second Class or equivalent).
  • KCSE Mean Grade: B+ or higher.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ relevant experience in an automotive engineering or service operations role.
  • Must be a Registered Graduate Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).
  • A Diploma in Technical Teacher Education is an added advantage.
  • In-depth automotive knowledge and familiarity with modern service and repair standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and training skills.

INTRODUCTION

Isuzu East Africa is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Parts Distribution Center (PDC) Supervisor to oversee inbound logistics, warehouse operations, and outbound logistics for automotive parts and accessories. If you have experience in supply chain management, warehouse operations, and inventory control, this is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in the automotive sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that Parts and Accessories required to run the business are processed, shipped, stored, and delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Implement and monitor strategic initiatives aimed at improving productivity, efficiency, safety, and overall warehouse performance metrics.
  • Manage and oversee import documentation processing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to establish realistic and effective order delivery timelines.
  • Guarantee that all warehouse operations (including inbound and outbound deliveries) meet safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee inventory assurance and accuracy, ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Coordinate order processing and outbound logistics for customers and dealers.
  • Monitor and control warehousing and supply chain expenditures while ensuring smooth inventory movement within the system.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Business-related discipline.
  • KCSE Mean Grade: B+ or higher.
  • CIPS Diploma in Procurement and Supply is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
