KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transport materials or equipment to and from designated areas within the facility, ensuring timely and accurate movement to support operational needs.
- Load and unload goods into and from vehicles and trucks, adhering to safety protocols to facilitate smooth logistics processes.
- Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility, optimizing space and accessibility for efficient workflow.
- Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions to maintain order and traceability.
- Check that loads are secure, minimizing risks of damage or accidents during transport and storage activities.
- Stack empty pallets in predefined areas, contributing to an organized and clutter-free warehouse environment.
- Perform daily maintenance on the forklift, including checks on the air conditioner, lubricants, and other components to ensure operational reliability.
- Execute any additional duties assigned by management, supporting the broader objectives of the Warehouse Department.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Certificate in Plant Operation with a valid Class G driving license, serving as a mandatory requirement for operating forklifts legally and safely.
- Over 3 years of work experience as a forklift operator, showcasing proven expertise in warehouse equipment handling and logistics tasks.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English, enabling clear communication with team members and supervisors.
- Strong communication skills to relay instructions and updates effectively within the warehouse setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
