KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Accounts Cashier

Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
Reconcile daily cash inflows and outflows and ensure proper documentation.
Process deposits, withdrawals, and account-related transactions for members.
Assist in preparing financial reports as required.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and cash handling procedures.
Provide excellent customer service to Sacco members by addressing inquiries and resolving transaction issues.
Assist in implementing strategies to enhance financial security and fraud prevention.

2. Recovery Officer

Monitor and follow up on overdue loans and defaulters.
Develop effective recovery strategies and liaise with clients to negotiate repayment plans.
Implement debt collection policies in accordance with Sacco regulations.
Work with legal teams when necessary to enforce debt recovery.
Maintain detailed reports on loan performance and collection efforts.
Collaborate with the credit department to improve loan assessment criteria and minimize future defaults.
Provide guidance to members on responsible borrowing and financial planning.

3. Admin & HR Officer

Oversee day-to-day administrative functions within the organization.
Implement human resource policies, including recruitment, onboarding, and training.
Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance with labor laws.
Support employee welfare, performance management, and conflict resolution.
Manage office supplies, logistics, and facility maintenance.
Develop HR strategies that align with the organization’s long-term goals.
Conduct employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.

4. Records Officer

Maintain and organize accurate records of Sacco transactions and client data.
Ensure secure storage and retrieval of physical and digital documents.
Implement document control policies and data management best practices.
Assist in compliance audits by ensuring proper documentation.
Ensure records are up-to-date and easily accessible for decision-making.
Utilize modern record-keeping software to enhance efficiency and data security.

5. Marketing Officer

Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote Sacco products and services.
Manage brand awareness campaigns, social media, and digital marketing efforts.
Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs.
Foster relationships with members to drive engagement and loyalty.
Organize promotional events and Sacco outreach programs.
Design innovative advertising materials that align with the Sacco’s brand identity.
Collaborate with other departments to develop integrated marketing campaigns.

6. Credit Officer

Assess loan applications and conduct due diligence on borrower eligibility.
Provide financial advisory services to members seeking credit facilities.
Monitor loan portfolio performance and ensure timely repayments.
Develop risk mitigation strategies to reduce non-performing loans.
Maintain credit analysis reports and recommend appropriate loan structures.
Educate members on financial responsibility and creditworthiness to foster a strong lending culture.
Work closely with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with lending guidelines.
