Key Responsibilities of the Marketing Officer Role
As the Marketing Officer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing Bristol Park Hospital’s brand visibility and driving targeted marketing initiatives. Your responsibilities include:
Brand Visibility and Marketing Communication:
- Assist in improving the hospital’s visibility and strengthening its brand image across all platforms.
- Ensure effective and branded marketing communications, including management of the company’s website, social media channels, print communications, and advertising campaigns.
Marketing Material Management:
- Ensure all branches (Nairobi, Kitengela, and Machakos) are adequately stocked with required marketing materials.
- Coordinate the production and distribution of marketing collateral and promotional materials.
Campaigns and Outreach Programs:
- Organize and execute medical camps and outreach programs to raise awareness of hospital services.
- Contribute to internal and external campaigns by providing marketing insights and support.
Content Creation and Lead Generation:
- Responsible for creating content tailored for campaigns, digital marketing, and lead generation.
- Carry out all social media activities, including content planning, posting, and engagement to increase brand visibility.
Market Intelligence and Feedback Collection:
- Conduct market intelligence activities to gather insights on competitors, market trends, and healthcare industry updates.
- Carry out internal feedback collection from clients and ensure continuous improvement in service delivery based on feedback.
Customer Service Training and Internal Engagement:
- Offer customer service training sessions to in-house teams to enhance client engagement.
- Participate actively in internal meetings, contributing marketing perspectives to discussions.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
- Assist in managing and improving SEO strategies to boost online visibility and website traffic.
Qualifications and Skills Required
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and competencies:
Educational Qualifications:
- A Degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing or a business-related course from a recognized institution.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a busy marketing environment, preferably in the healthcare sector.
Technical Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of marketing strategies, digital marketing tools, and social media management.
- Knowledge of graphic designing is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and online lead generation techniques.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently to achieve key objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, creative, and analytical skills.
