This role offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your skills in finance and administration to empower vulnerable communities, drive gender-sensitive policies, and influence policymakers at national and regional levels.
This is a full-time, onsite role based in Kenya, where your contributions will be pivotal in achieving economic inclusivity and fostering feminist governance of public finances.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management and Budget Tracking
- Track and manage the campaign budget to ensure alignment with allocations and financial commitments.
- Supervise cash flow operations, including payment processing and expenditure control.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation using advanced financial management tools.
- Prepare and submit quarterly and annual financial reports promptly.
- Contribute to financial audits and respond to verification requests to ensure compliance.
2. Procurement and Logistics Management
- Coordinate requisitions for materials and supplies essential to campaign operations.
- Oversee procurement processes in line with organizational policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with suppliers to secure timely purchases and competitive quotes.
- Manage and maintain an up-to-date inventory of campaign equipment and materials.
3. Travel and Logistics Arrangements
- Organize travel arrangements for campaign staff, including flight bookings and accommodations.
- Manage travel authorizations and expense reimbursements in accordance with policies.
- Ensure smooth logistical support for meetings and events facilitated by the campaign.
4. Reporting and Communication
- Prepare and submit comprehensive financial reports to the Head of the Campaign and stakeholders.
- Maintain proactive communication with internal teams to monitor expenses and ensure budget adherence.
- Facilitate the coordination and dissemination of financial and administrative updates across teams.
Key Accountability Areas:
- Budget tracking and adherence to financial commitments.
- Efficient procurement and inventory management.
- Effective travel and logistical arrangements for campaign activities.
- Timely preparation and submission of financial reports.
- Transparent communication of financial information across teams.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in a similar role, preferably within a campaign or non-profit setting.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in financial management tools and accounting software.
- Experience in budget tracking and financial report preparation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of French is an added advantage.
- Attention to detail and strong time-management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
