In response to growing demand, Eastleigh Pharmaceutical is hiring reliable store attendants who can maintain high standards of inventory accuracy, physical organization, and customer-facing support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Store Attendant will support retail and warehouse operations by ensuring proper storage, handling, and movement of pharmaceutical products. This position requires someone capable of maintaining stock integrity, adhering to safety standards, and meeting daily operational targets.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Inventory Handling and Shelf Management

Systematically arrange pharmaceutical products according to batch, type, storage requirement, or frequency of sale
-
Pick drugs from the shelves based on invoices or requisition slips for dispatch or customer sale
-
Identify and remove expired, damaged, or recalled stock following company procedures
-
Place newly received stock in the correct shelves or storage bins based on First-In-First-Out (FIFO) inventory rules
-
Assist in rotating products to ensure older stock is prioritized for sale
-
Update inventory tags, shelf labels, and storage signs to improve identification and traceability
2. Stock Monitoring and Replenishment
-
Perform physical inventory checks and notify supervisors about low stock levels
-
Collaborate with procurement or store leads to place internal restock orders for fast-moving items
-
Report inconsistencies between physical stock and system records
-
Maintain updated logs of daily usage, stock movement, and damaged or returned items
-
Prepare basic inventory reports or tally sheets for use during audits or reconciliations
3. Order Fulfillment and Dispatch
-
Review order slips and accurately pick requested medicines for packaging or delivery
-
Assist in packing, labeling, and preparing medications for delivery to clients or internal departments
-
Ensure dispatch procedures meet pharmaceutical handling standards and customer instructions
-
Track pending orders and notify supervisors in case of out-of-stock products
-
Work with logistics or customer service teams to resolve order discrepancies
4. Customer Service and Front-Line Support

Assist walk-in customers by locating products and providing product information (under supervision)
-
Direct customers to the pharmacist for consultation when prescription or technical advice is required
-
Maintain professional, friendly, and respectful interactions with all clients
-
Help reduce waiting time by facilitating back-end inventory movement during busy hours
-
Uphold Eastleigh Pharma’s customer-first service standard at all times
5. Warehouse Maintenance and Safety
-
Keep shelves, storage bins, and work areas clean and organized
-
Follow workplace health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and contamination
-
Support waste segregation and proper disposal of damaged or expired products
-
Adhere to infection control procedures when handling high-sensitivity medications
-
Wear appropriate protective clothing, gloves, and footwear as required in a pharmaceutical environment
6. Administrative and Team Support
-
Participate in weekly stocktakes, inventory audits, and physical verifications
-
Update basic store records or entry sheets using manual forms or Excel-based systems
-
Communicate promptly with storekeepers or pharmacists about missing, delayed, or excess items
-
Offer help to team members during restocking, deliveries, or reorganization
-
Be willing to cover other retail locations temporarily as required by management
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Eastleigh Pharma seeks passionate, hardworking individuals who can function well in dynamic and high-demand settings such as drugstores and healthcare stockrooms.
Minimum Qualifications:

A Diploma or Certificate in Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or any related discipline

A Bachelor’s degree in any of the above fields will be an added advantage
-
Ongoing students or recent graduates are also encouraged to apply if they meet the skill requirements
Experience:
-
Prior experience in storekeeping, inventory management, pharmacy retail, or logistics is highly desirable
-
Experience working in a pharmacy, hospital store, or fast-paced retail environment is a plus
-
Familiarity with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Excel or POS systems is an asset
