KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up and operate cutting-edge audiovisual equipment, including cameras, lighting systems, audio setups, and vision mixers, for seamless studio and outside broadcast productions.
  • Ensure flawless execution of live and recorded content, quickly resolving technical challenges to maintain broadcast integrity.
  • Capture high-quality video footage and still photography to meet diverse production demands, enhancing visual storytelling.
  • Edit video content using industry-standard software, delivering polished outputs for broadcast and digital platforms that align with creative briefs.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure all audiovisual deliverables meet established quality standards and project objectives.
  • Perform routine maintenance on audiovisual tools, ensuring equipment reliability and peak performance during every production.
  • Identify equipment malfunctions, reporting issues to the Chief Audiovisual Officer and facilitating timely repairs or replacements.
  • Prepare media files for production, including formatting, ingesting, and organizing content to streamline workflows.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks on all audiovisual materials, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and client expectations.
  • Work alongside the Chief Audiovisual Officer and production staff to meet tight deadlines and achieve technical excellence.
  • Provide on-site technical support during live events and external broadcasts, ensuring operational success under dynamic conditions.
  • Conduct structured training sessions and workshops, empowering students and junior team members with practical audiovisual skills.
  • Mentor aspiring professionals and entrepreneurs, fostering industry readiness and aligning training with market trends.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • University Degree or Diploma in Media Technology, Film, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in audiovisual operations, with proven expertise in studio and outside broadcast environments.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining audiovisual equipment, including cameras, audio systems, lighting rigs, and vision mixers.
  • Advanced skills in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) and photography tools for professional-grade outputs.
