Key Responsibilities
1. Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare institutions, government agencies, and pharmaceutical distributors.
- Engage with decision-makers in hospitals, clinics, and medical institutions to promote Shalina Healthcare’s pharmaceutical products.
- Act as a trusted advisor to healthcare professionals, providing relevant product information and industry updates.
2. Sales Strategy Execution
- Implement targeted sales strategies to meet institutional sales objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market reach within the pharmaceutical institutional sector.
- Organize and conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for healthcare professionals.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing team to align product positioning and business goals.
3. Product Promotion
- Educate healthcare providers on the benefits, features, and applications of Shalina Healthcare’s pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure that all promotional materials and communications adhere to ethical and regulatory standards.
- Monitor customer feedback and provide insights for product development and marketing strategies.
4. Market Analysis
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to refine sales strategies and improve outreach efforts.
- Provide regular reports on market conditions, product performance, and customer feedback.
5. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all sales and promotional activities adhere to the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya regulations.
- Maintain ethical standards when engaging with healthcare professionals and institutions.
- Stay updated on compliance guidelines and incorporate best practices into sales and marketing strategies.
Essential Education, Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, healthcare sales, or institutional business development.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry trends, sales techniques, and customer engagement strategies.
- Proven track record in negotiating contracts and closing high-value sales.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market data and client needs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high-performing sales team.
