As a Finance Officer, you will be responsible for managing key financial transactions, ensuring adherence to financial regulations, and conducting financial risk assessments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Reporting & Budgeting: Prepare and maintain financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to ensure proper financial planning and decision-making.
- Transaction Oversight: Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, to maintain a seamless financial operation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, policies, and procedures to uphold legal and organizational standards.
- Payroll & Tax Management: Oversee payroll processing and tax reporting to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation and statutory compliance.
- Risk Management & Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and risk assessments to provide insights that support sound financial decision-making.
- Audit & Documentation: Assist in auditing processes by preparing necessary documentation and supporting audit activities.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and ensure appropriate fund allocation for operational efficiency.
- Financial Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize financial processes and implement best practices in financial management.
- Advisory Role: Provide financial insights to management, helping guide decision-making with accurate and data-driven recommendations.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work with internal teams, external auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional Certification: CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent certification is an added advantage.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting principles.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with financial software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical Ability: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct financial analysis and assess risks effectively.
- Attention to Detail: High level of integrity and meticulous attention to financial data accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate financial insights and recommendations to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align financial processes with the hospital’s strategic goals and long-term sustainability plans.
- Adaptability: Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, adjusting to evolving financial requirements.
