Key Responsibilities

As an Expert Driver, your role will encompass the following:

• Ensure safe and timely transportation of personnel and goods to designated locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the assigned vehicle at all times.
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company driving policies.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Plan and navigate efficient routes to minimize fuel consumption and maximize productivity.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and team members.
• Manage vehicle maintenance schedules and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Support logistical operations, including loading and unloading materials when necessary.
• Keep an accurate log of trips, mileage, and fuel usage for reporting purposes.

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Kenyan driving license with no major violations.
• A minimum of 5 years’ professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Proficiency in vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Excellent knowledge of Nairobi’s traffic patterns and roadways.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Defensive driving certification.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Experience using GPS systems for navigation.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical repairs.
