As a Driver, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of the institute through transportation services, compliance with traffic regulations, and vehicle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Driver, your duties will include:

• Driving Institute vehicles for official assignments as required.
• Conducting daily vehicle checks to ensure proper functionality.
• Maintaining cleanliness and conducting regular maintenance of vehicles.
• Ensuring safe transportation of staff, students, and goods.
• Complying with all legal regulations and institutional policies.
• Safeguarding toolkits and ensuring proper vehicle equipment.
• Adhering to traffic laws and regulations at all times.
• Reporting any vehicle issues or mechanical failures promptly.
• Performing any other assigned duties related to the role.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Education:
   • Minimum KCSE Certificate or equivalent.
2. Licenses and Certifications:
   • Valid Driving License (Class ABCE).
   • PSV License certification.
   • Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from Kenya Police.
   • First Aid Certificate (St. John Ambulance or equivalent).
3. Experience:
   • At least 5 years of continuous accident-free driving experience.
   • Proven experience in handling motor vehicle repairs.
   • Completion of a Grade II Occupation Test Certificate (motor vehicle repairs) conducted by a recognized government institution.
4. Additional Competencies:
   • Defensive Driving Certification.
   • Demonstrated reliability and professional work ethic.
   • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
