Key Responsibilities

As the Director of Operations, you will:

• Support the Country Manager in strategic planning and overall hotel management.
• Develop and execute annual Operations Plans, ensuring profit objectives are met.
• Oversee the implementation and adherence to Mövenpick culture and standards.
• Handle guest feedback and concerns, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
• Lead the preparation and achievement of the hotel’s Operating and Capital Expenditure Budgets.
• Maintain and oversee financial outlooks for operational departments, ensuring accuracy.
• Collaborate with department heads to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Drive staff recruitment, planning, and productivity, ensuring an engaged workforce.
• Ensure the hotel’s Business Continuity, Emergency, and Crisis Management Plans are up-to-date.
• Uphold compliance with brand standards, policies, and regulations.
• Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must have:

• A minimum of 10 years of hotel experience, including at least 2 years in a similar leadership position.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Proven expertise in operations management, with the ability to coordinate multiple departments effectively.
• Strong knowledge of budget planning, execution, and financial management.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• A demonstrated ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on experience with system management and operational controls.
• A commitment to guest satisfaction and employee engagement.
