Key Responsibilities
As an ILRI Intern, your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in livestock research projects under the guidance of senior researchers.
- Conducting data collection, analysis, and documentation.
- Supporting capacity development initiatives to enhance research efficiency.
- Engaging in field-based and lab-based research activities.
- Assisting in the preparation of research reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance research outcomes.
- Contributing to ILRI’s knowledge-sharing platforms.
Qualifications and Skills
To be eligible for this internship opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with at least one full semester remaining.
- ILRI also provides internship opportunities to students enrolled in diploma and certificate programs, as well as senior high school students in strategic partnerships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Keen interest in livestock agriculture, sustainability, and research.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment.
