Key Responsibilities

As an ILRI Intern, your responsibilities will include:

• Participating in livestock research projects under the guidance of senior researchers.
• Conducting data collection, analysis, and documentation.
• Supporting capacity development initiatives to enhance research efficiency.
• Engaging in field-based and lab-based research activities.
• Assisting in the preparation of research reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance research outcomes.
• Contributing to ILRI’s knowledge-sharing platforms.

Qualifications and Skills

To be eligible for this internship opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with at least one full semester remaining.
• ILRI also provides internship opportunities to students enrolled in diploma and certificate programs, as well as senior high school students in strategic partnerships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• Keen interest in livestock agriculture, sustainability, and research.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment.
