Key Responsibilities
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will:
- Plan and organize the transport of materials from overseas and local suppliers to warehouses.
- Manage customs processes by handling broker-related information and ensuring proper documentation.
- Process necessary shipping and shipment-related documents required by local authorities.
- Oversee the delivery of materials from the local warehouse to project sites.
- Coordinate logistics execution with outsourced local logistics providers where applicable.
- Manage the consolidation of local materials for site deliveries.
- Order transportation or additional services from logistics providers as required.
- Review invoices, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate posting of logistics costs.
- Oversee tools management by controlling and tracking tool usage and returns.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you need:
- A Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a higher qualification.
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, focusing on local and international supply lines.
- Strong understanding of shipping processes and documentation requirements.
- Proficiency in SAP (preferred) and advanced MS Office skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
