Key Responsibilities

As a Grade 7 to 9 Teacher, your primary duties will include:

• Delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) to foster academic and personal growth.
• Preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments tailored to learners’ needs.
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary teaching strategies.
• Offering personalized support to students, promoting their individual strengths and addressing areas for improvement.
• Encouraging participation in extracurricular activities, including creative arts and sports.
• Maintaining accurate records of students’ performance and providing timely feedback.
• Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching effectiveness.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

Essential Qualifications:

• TSC Registration (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Education, preferably in secondary education.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant teaching experience.

Preferred Experience:

• Proven expertise in the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) implementation.

Subject Combinations:

We are seeking educators with the following teaching combinations:

1. Creative Arts & Sports / Mathematics / Social Studies (SST) / Kiswahili / Agriculture.
2. Kiswahili / Agriculture / Social Studies (SST).
