Introduction
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ICT/Media Officer to join our team in Lang’ata, Nairobi. In this full-time position, you will work closely with our team to provide essential audio-visual services and ensure the seamless operation of our systems. This role also requires offering leadership to our media team and maintaining our database and network systems.

Key Responsibilities
As the ICT/Media Officer, you will:
- Manage and deliver audio-visual services for all church functions, ensuring high-quality production and seamless execution.
- Oversee the maintenance of ICT systems, including hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Administer and secure the church’s database and network, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the media team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Coordinate live streaming of church events and maintain the online media presence.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in ICT and media to implement improvements.
- Develop and maintain ICT and media policies, ensuring compliance with best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certification in ICT systems administration or media technology is an added advantage.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong emphasis on media and ICT management.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in audio-visual equipment operation and maintenance.
- Expertise in database and network administration.
- Strong knowledge of ICT systems, including hardware, software, and networking.
- Familiarity with content management systems and live streaming platforms.
Soft Skills
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
