Key Responsibilities
As an ICT Coordinator, you will:
Systems Management
- Oversee the maintenance and administration of ICT systems, including servers, networks, and workstations, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Ensure integration of innovative ICT systems aligned with organizational goals.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot system issues.
- Develop and update technical manuals, ensuring documentation is accurate and accessible.
Support and Training
- Provide second and third-level support for ICT-related issues and manage helpdesk operations.
- Train staff on systems, applications, and ICT best practices.
- Promote awareness of cybersecurity and proper handling of sensitive data.
Strategic Planning and Compliance
- Contribute to long-term IT strategies, incorporating emerging technologies.
- Implement security protocols to protect data and systems from cyber threats.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and regular testing of backup systems.
Project Management
- Plan, execute, and monitor ICT projects, including software implementations and network upgrades.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
Inventory and Budgeting
- Manage ICT inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Plan and allocate resources to optimize ICT expenditures.
- Ensure quality control for all purchased ICT goods and services.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Requirements
- Post-graduate degree in telecommunication, electronics, computer science, or a related field.
- Certifications in ICT management (ITIL) and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).
- Certification in project management is a plus.
Professional Experience
- 9–12 years of experience, including 4 years in troubleshooting ICT systems like workplace services, telecommunications, or IT help desks.
- 3–4 years of leadership experience in ICT management or engineering.
Key Competencies
- Proficiency in managing complex ICT systems and ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
