VACANCY 1: CORPORATE SALES MANAGER – BROKERS (GENERAL INSURANCE)

ROLE OVERVIEW

This position reports to the General Manager – Distribution and is responsible for leading corporate sales and growth of the broker channel for General Insurance. The role drives new business, develops long-term broker relationships, and ensures profitability across the portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute strategic plans to grow General Insurance business via brokers
• Chair weekly revenue meetings, set sales goals, and review broker channel performance
• Implement credit policy, manage collections, and enforce debt management procedures
• Recruit, onboard, and train new brokers to build a high-performing intermediary network
• Oversee daily broker engagement, solution presentations, training, and relationship management
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory and internal risk control measures
• Collaborate across product lines to deliver integrated financial solutions
• Drive product innovation and revisions based on customer needs and market developments
• Coach and develop the corporate sales team to achieve high levels of motivation and results

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Insurance
• Progress toward or completion of ACII certification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in General Insurance with proven marketing and business development success
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
• Knowledge of broker compliance, credit control, and corporate customer needs

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Reporting Accountant will provide financial oversight and lead preparation of monthly financials, business forecasts, audits, and board-level reporting for Old Mutual’s entities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
• Coordinate audits and regulatory compliance processes
• Manage fixed assets, investment income, and expense controls
• Submit quarterly CMA returns and board reports
• Drive continuous improvements in financial reporting processes
• Upload financial data into HFM and maintain audit trail
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline budgeting processes

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• CPA-K certification is mandatory
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or audit
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting and Oracle HFM tools

ROLE OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Business Growth & Development Manager, the Universal Banker is responsible for driving MSME loan uptake, deposit mobilization, and daily client engagement in line with Faulu Bank’s financial inclusion goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Recruit MSME clients and manage loan processing, appraisals, and disbursements
• Grow deposit base and cross-sell other banking products
• Conduct regular customer visits, maintain accurate CRM records
• Promote digital banking tools (e.g., DigiCash, Internet Banking, USSD)
• Track portfolio quality, flag delinquencies, and lead recovery initiatives
• Ensure AML/KYC compliance and implement internal control policies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
• CPA Section 4 minimum
• 4 years’ experience in MSME lending and banking services
• Deep understanding of credit risk, customer service, and digital banking platforms
• Strong interpersonal and sales skills
