KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Role-Specific)
Resident Counsellor (Parklands Hospital)
- Provide psychosocial support and professional counseling to patients and staff.
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Offer trauma and stress management interventions.
- Maintain client records and ensure confidentiality.
Transport Coordinator (Kisumu Hospital)
- Oversee daily hospital transport operations.
- Manage fleet scheduling, vehicle maintenance, and fuel consumption.
- Ensure compliance with transport and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with hospital teams for timely patient and medical supply transport.
Dentist (Kisumu Hospital)
- Provide comprehensive dental care to patients.
- Perform diagnostic and preventative dental procedures.
- Ensure compliance with dental health protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices.
Unit Manager – Obs/Gyn (Kisumu Hospital)
- Oversee maternity and gynecology department operations.
- Lead a team of nurses and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure high standards of obstetric and gynecological care.
- Implement and monitor patient safety procedures.
Endoscopy Nurse (Kisumu Hospital)
- Assist in endoscopic procedures and post-operative care.
- Maintain sterile techniques and ensure patient safety.
- Provide pre and post-procedure education to patients.
- Monitor patient vital signs and recovery progress.
Training Coordinator (Kisumu Hospital)
- Develop and implement staff training programs.
- Assess training needs and coordinate workshops.
- Ensure compliance with industry education requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
ICU Nurse (Parklands Hospital)
- Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients.
- Monitor life support equipment and patient conditions.
- Administer medications and emergency treatments.
- Work closely with doctors and multidisciplinary teams.
Medical Officer-Gastro (Parklands Hospital)
- Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal conditions.
- Perform endoscopic and other gastro procedures.
- Provide guidance on nutritional and digestive health.
- Work with a team of specialists for patient management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Relevant degrees/diplomas in healthcare, operations, or human resources.
- Professional certifications where applicable (e.g., Counseling License, Nursing License, Dental Registration).
- Minimum (0-3) years’ experience in the respective field.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced and demanding environments.
- Knowledge of hospital operations and patient-centered care.
