KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries, purchases, and any concerns. Strive to provide a memorable shopping experience by offering friendly, personalized service.
• Sales Assistance: Support customers in finding the right products, offer recommendations, and highlight special promotions to enhance sales performance.
• Stock Management & Merchandising: Ensure the store is well-stocked, clean, and presentable at all times. Restock shelves as needed and maintain proper product labeling and display organization.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the store’s product offerings, including new arrivals and bestsellers. Confidently explain features, benefits, and usage to customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
• Point-of-Sale Operations: Efficiently handle transactions using the store’s POS system, ensuring accurate pricing and cash handling.
• Loss Prevention & Security: Follow store policies to minimize loss, monitor suspicious activity, and maintain a secure shopping environment.
• Store Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a tidy and organized store by ensuring aisles, shelves, and checkout areas are clutter-free and visually appealing.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and store management to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Prior experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Basic math skills to handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and product information.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per business needs.
• Strong sense of responsibility, honesty, and reliability in handling store operations.
