Key Responsibilities

  1. Procurement, Administration and Logistics Officer (COSME), Kilifi

    • Manage procurement processes, ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines for timely acquisition of goods and services
    • Maintain inventory control, overseeing warehouse management and tracking supply chain efficiency
    • Coordinate administrative tasks, from office support to vendor management, maintaining seamless operations
    • Implement health and safety policies for transportation, inventory handling, and office facilities
    • Keep comprehensive records of contracts, purchase orders, and supplier documentation for auditing
  2. Driver – Isiolo

    • Safely transport staff, volunteers, and materials to various field sites, adhering to local road regulations
    • Conduct regular vehicle inspections, promptly addressing any mechanical issues to ensure roadworthiness
    • Manage detailed logbooks, noting mileage, fuel consumption, and travel details for reporting
    • Assist with loading and unloading supplies, guaranteeing the secure and efficient handling of items
    • Collaborate with the logistics division to plan optimal routes, reducing operational delays and costs
  3. Regional Child Protection in Emergencies Specialist, Region of Eastern & Southern Africa (Re-advert)

    • Design and implement child protection interventions for emergency responses, ensuring they align with best practices
    • Offer technical guidance to field teams and partner organizations, strengthening local child safeguarding measures
    • Lead monitoring and evaluation efforts, using data-driven approaches to refine program strategies
    • Provide training to staff and community leaders on child welfare, risk mitigation, and ethical standards
    • Coordinate with regional offices to ensure compliance with global policies and to integrate child-centered frameworks
  4. Sponsorship Digital Data Collection Transformation – Project Officer, Global Hub – Location Flexible

    • Spearhead digital innovation projects aimed at improving data collection, processing, and analysis for sponsorship programs
    • Establish project milestones, timelines, and budget estimates in consultation with the sponsorship team
    • Ensure data protection compliance by setting up secure systems and verifying information integrity throughout project phases
    • Collaborate with IT specialists and program staff to customize software solutions that address unique operational requirements
    • Generate regular progress reports for leadership, highlighting project achievements, challenges, and recommendations
  5. Interim Humanitarian Fundraising Project Lead, Global Hub – Location Flexible

    • Oversee fundraising initiatives, engaging with international donors, foundations, and other stakeholders to secure resources for humanitarian work
    • Develop compelling proposal documents, ensuring clarity on project scope, objectives, and outcomes
    • Set fundraising targets, track campaign results, and implement effective adjustments to optimize revenue streams
    • Collaborate closely with finance teams to uphold transparency in fund allocation and strengthen donor trust

Qualifications and Skills

  • Academic Background: Diplomas, bachelor’s degrees, or higher qualifications in logistics, social sciences, business management, international development, administration, or relevant fields
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in project management tools, MS Office, and digital platforms for data management
  • Professional Experience: Practical involvement in logistics, driving, child protection, fundraising, or digital transformation. Experience with NGOs or international organizations is highly advantageous
