1. ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT – NAIROBI

Position Title: Accounts Assistant

ROLE SUMMARY

Ur Home is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, performing account reconciliations, and providing customer and administrative support.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Update and maintain financial database and records
• Process bills, checks, receipts, and other financial documents
• Verify signatures and ensure proper document distribution
• Monitor and reconcile financial transactions
• Assist with internal audits and inventory processes
• Support with monthly warehouse stock counts
• Coordinate visits to suppliers, legal offices, and business departments
• Identify discrepancies and escalate as needed
• Perform any duties as delegated by leadership

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized institution
• 2–3 years of proven experience in a similar accounting role
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks or related accounting software
• Knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and finance regulations
• Ability to troubleshoot and work under high pressure
• Excellent organizational and numerical skills
• Strong attention to detail and data confidentiality
• Immediate availability preferred

Position Title: Area Sales Manager – Fast-Moving Consumer Goods

ROLE SUMMARY

We are recruiting a results-driven Area Sales Manager with experience in FMCG sales to manage and grow our distribution channels in Isiolo, Marsabit, and Wajir. This role requires leadership, performance management, and strong customer relationship-building skills.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth
• Set sales targets and monitor team performance
• Manage sales budgets, expenses, and reporting tools
• Provide coaching and ongoing training to the field sales team
• Assist with recruitment and performance reviews of sales representatives
• Identify and penetrate new markets for business development
• Maintain excellent customer experience standards across territories
• Strengthen long-term partnerships with B2B clients and retailers
• Coordinate product deliveries and project implementation with support teams
• Monitor market intelligence, trends, and competitor activities
• Submit weekly and monthly reports covering: sales activities, client meetings, new leads, market challenges, and opportunities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Diploma/Degree in Sales & Marketing or related discipline from a reputable institution
• Minimum 3 years of proven FMCG sales experience, with at least 1 year managing a sales team
• Fluent in English and proficient in customer engagement and presentation
• Excellent team leadership and training capabilities
• CRM system literacy and adaptability to new tools
• Strong decision-making, persuasion, and negotiation skills
• Target-driven, self-motivated, and results-oriented
• Emotional resilience and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
• Immediately available for deployment
