- Salary Scale: KES 71,500 – KES 140,500 per month
- House Allowance: KES 20,000
- Commuter Allowance: KES 14,000

The academy seeks a highly skilled Trainer – BMA Driving School to provide quality instruction in cargo handling equipment operations and maintenance. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering training programs aligned with national and international maritime transport standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Trainer – BMA Driving School will work under the Senior Trainer and will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and delivering maritime transport operations training programs
- Formulating and implementing Maritime Transport Operations Training policies
- Developing and continuously improving training curricula and course materials
- Establishing and managing the school calendar and timetables
- Preparing, evaluating, and maintaining teaching, learning, and assessment materials
- Supervising trainees during practical sessions in cargo handling equipment
- Conducting and grading internal examinations
- Tracking student attendance and performance records
- Ensuring proper maintenance and functionality of cargo handling equipment
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from a recognized university in Kenya
- Registered Trainer with the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA)
- Valid Class G Driving License issued by NTSA
- Certification in Safety in Cargo Handling Equipment (advantageous)
- Training of Trainers (ToT) certification
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Fulfillment of Chapter Six of the Kenyan Constitution, including valid compliance certificates from:
- Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
- Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
- Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
- Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
- Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) (Certificate of Good Conduct)
