KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruit, develop, and lead a team of high-performing commission-only agents in the assigned regions.
  • Maintain an active recruitment pipeline, ensuring no sales opportunity is missed.
  • Ensure agents meet and surpass monthly sales targets, especially in the high-demand areas of Nakuru, Eldoret, and Mombasa.
  • Coach, train, and mentor agents on sales best practices, objection handling, and product knowledge.
  • Monitor and track agent performance using CRM tools and field data.
  • Ensure POS materials and outlets are always branded, compliant, and well-stocked.
  • Collaborate with central operations for logistical support, performance evaluations, and marketing strategy alignment.
  • Conduct market analysis, track competitive activity, and adjust field strategy as needed.
  • Represent Poa! in local activations, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to expand market reach.
  • Generate performance reports, and contribute to data-driven decision-making with sales insights.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Academic Requirements

  • Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or any related field.

Professional Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in agency sales, especially managing commission-based sales teams.
  • Proven track record in field sales jobs in Kenya, particularly in telecom, FMCG, or similar industries.
  • Hands-on experience in recruiting and mentoring sales agents.
  • Ability to design and execute strategic field campaigns with measurable impact.
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools, data tracking, and field team performance analysis.
  • Experience operating in Nakuru, Eldoret, or Mombasa is a plus.
