Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and enhancing customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities include:
- Sales Strategy Development: Craft and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- New Business Acquisition: Identify and secure new clients through field sales, cold calling, networking, and digital marketing channels.
- Product Demonstrations: Present technical features of products like roof windows, light tunnels, and loft ladders to potential and existing clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Build long-term, trust-based relationships with clients by offering tailored solutions and post-sales support.
- Technical Expertise: Provide comprehensive technical advice about roofing products, including installation processes, durability, and benefits.
- Market Research: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor strategies to continuously improve our offerings.
- Event Representation: Act as an ambassador for Classic Mouldings at trade shows, expos, and networking events, showcasing our roofing solutions.
- Customer Issue Resolution: Address and resolve client objections or complaints promptly, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
- Professional Development: Participate in industry workshops, training programs, and events to stay updated on best practices and product innovations.
Qualifications & Skills
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of proven experience in sales, with a focus on roofing or technical product sales.
- Strong technical knowledge of roofing materials, installation, and construction processes.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with diverse clientele.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
