Key Responsibilities

Analyzing enterprise specifics: Identify and analyze the organization’s business drivers, translating them into enterprise architecture requirements.
Gathering and documenting requirements: Elicit business requirements through interviews, workshops, surveys, and process analysis, ensuring all documentation is clear and actionable.
Establishing a collaboration framework: Work closely with business subject matter experts to create a comprehensive business architecture framework, providing a roadmap for business solutions.
Assessing the technology environment: Evaluate current IT capabilities and determine the best approach—process improvement, new technologies, or system enhancements—to meet business objectives.
Overseeing solution development: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure all solutions meet specified technical and business requirements.
Supporting project management: Provide architectural guidance on projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and the enterprise architecture framework.
Driving business capabilities: Connect business needs to technology and information architecture decisions, helping the organization achieve its strategic objectives.
Facilitating design patterns: Promote standardization and consistency in solution design through well-documented design patterns.
Quality assurance: Support performance testing and other non-functional tests to ensure solutions meet quality standards.
Capacity planning: Guide resource allocation and scalability planning to support current and future solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications: Professional qualifications such as CBAP, TOGAF, ITIL Foundation, or Design Thinking and Innovation are highly desirable.
Project Management Skills: Certifications like PRINCE II, PMP, MSP, or Agile (Scrum Master, PMI-ACP) are beneficial.
Technical Experience: At least 7 years of progressive IT experience, including 5 years in IT disciplines like business architecture, application architecture, middleware, microservices, or Service-Oriented Architecture.
Database Proficiency: At least 4 years of experience managing database systems.
Enterprise Frameworks: At least 3 years working with formal enterprise architecture frameworks.
Exposure to Diverse Technologies: Experience with cloud computing, containerization, DevOps methodologies, and multiple software delivery approaches (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
Interpersonal and Leadership Skills: Strong teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
Analytical Abilities: Ability to balance strategic objectives with practical solutions and liaise effectively with all organizational levels.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, empathy, and adaptability to different audiences.
