KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the implementation of marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and product sales.
• Engage in customer relationship management, fostering long-term partnerships with clients.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify sales opportunities and trends.
• Support the sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
• Participate in sales pitches, negotiations, and closing deals with customers.
• Collaborate on digital marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns, email marketing, and SEO strategies.
• Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations.
• Work closely with the sales and marketing team to ensure seamless execution of promotional activities.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance market knowledge.
• Contribute to the overall brand positioning and expansion of Longhorn Publishers in the Kenyan market.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications.
• Less than one year of experience in a sales or marketing role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and teams effectively.
• Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals successfully.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify challenges and propose solutions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• A positive attitude and a strong growth mindset to embrace learning and development.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, PPC, and social media strategies.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
