Key Highlights of the Internship Program

1. 3-Month Industrial Attachment

• For: Ongoing university students
• Intakes: April, July, October & January

2. 6-Month Internship

• For: Recent graduates (within the last 48 months) or those awaiting graduation
• Intakes: April & October

3. Pupillage Program

• For: Kenya School of Law students
• Intakes: April & October

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on real-world projects under the mentorship of experienced professionals.
• Participate in departmental functions relevant to your field of study.
• Engage in collaborative initiatives to drive digital transformation and innovation.
• Support cross-functional teams to gain a holistic understanding of business operations.

Internship Opportunities in Various Departments

We have internship opportunities in the following areas:

1. Human Resources (HR)

Join our HR team and gain exposure to talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.

2. Legal

Support legal research, contracts, compliance, and corporate governance while working alongside experienced legal professionals.

3. Finance

Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, auditing, and financial analysis in a dynamic corporate finance environment.

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for the Safaricom Internship Program 2025/26, you must meet the following requirements:

1. Ongoing university student or graduate within the last 48 months.
2. Available for full-time internship during the specified intake periods.
3. Select only one intake per year for which you will be available.
4. Commit to the fixed internship period of either 3 months or 6 months (no extensions).
5. Passion for technology, business, and digital transformation.
6. Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
7. A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and innovate.
