A Restaurant Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring that daily operations within a restaurant run smoothly. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and manage efficient staff schedules to ensure adequate restaurant coverage, especially during peak hours.
• Onboard and train new employees while providing continuous training for existing staff to maintain high service levels.
• Oversee the performance of front-of-house and back-of-house teams, offering guidance, feedback, and mentorship.
• Address and resolve conflicts among staff or between staff and customers in a professional manner.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by promptly handling complaints, concerns, and service issues.
• Monitor service standards, restaurant ambiance, and customer experience to align with company expectations.
• Interact with guests to enhance their dining experience, gather feedback, and implement necessary improvements.
• Manage inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and ensure proper ordering processes.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Work closely with the restaurant manager to enhance operational efficiency and financial performance.
• Assist in developing marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer satisfaction scores and staff productivity.
• Organize regular staff meetings to ensure effective communication and alignment with company goals.
• Implement customer feedback strategies to continuously improve service quality.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure consistent and cost-effective supply chain management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to train, mentor, and develop restaurant staff.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house processes.
• Effective communication skills for engaging with both staff and customers.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with restaurant management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
