KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain efficient staff scheduling to ensure smooth operations, particularly during peak hours.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new employees while implementing ongoing training programs to uphold high service standards.
  • Oversee the performance of both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, providing continuous feedback and mentorship.
  • Identify and resolve staff-related conflicts, fostering a productive and harmonious work environment.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by swiftly addressing complaints, resolving service issues, and ensuring a seamless dining experience.
  • Monitor restaurant service standards, ambiance, and overall experience to ensure alignment with company expectations.
  • Actively engage with customers to enhance their dining experience, gather valuable feedback, and implement improvements.
  • Uphold health, safety, and sanitation regulations to ensure full compliance with industry and government standards.
  • Develop operational strategies to increase efficiency, minimize waste, and optimize the restaurant’s financial performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing and promotions teams to drive restaurant visibility and attract new customers.
  • Manage inventory, supplier relationships, and ordering processes to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Proven experience in restaurant management, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to develop and train a high-performing restaurant team.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with both staff and customers.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Familiarity with cost control measures and budgeting for optimal financial performance.
