Key Responsibilities

Processing Oversight

• Supervise production staff to ensure compliance with company standards, HACCP guidelines, KEBS regulations, and other certifications.
• Plan and coordinate daily labor requirements in collaboration with the Processing Manager.
• Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHPs) to maintain high operational standards.

Quality Control

• Ensure all products meet or exceed established quality specifications.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate future quality concerns.

Team Leadership

• Coach, mentor, and support production staff to enhance their performance and skillsets.
• Address behavioral issues and ensure compliance with company policies.

Operational Efficiency

• Maintain smooth and efficient production flow by proactively addressing bottlenecks and production challenges.

Safety and Maintenance

• Ensure a safe and healthy working environment by enforcing safety protocols and addressing equipment maintenance needs.

Reporting and Analysis

• Generate daily shift performance reports to monitor production progress and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and quality standards (HACCP, GMPs, GHPs), food processing techniques, and industry regulations.
• Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to motivate and guide a team effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to proactively address production challenges.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
