INTRODUCTION

Are you a skilled and experienced driver looking for an opportunity to work with a leading organization? We are currently hiring a Pick-Up Driver to join our team and provide essential transportation services in Miwani, Kisumu. This role offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to contribute to the smooth operations of the administration department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely transport staff to designated locations.
• Ensure the timely conveyance of staff to and from assigned locations as per the supervisor’s instructions.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it is always in good working condition.
• Identify mechanical and electrical faults in the vehicle and promptly report them to management.
• Maintain detailed vehicle records, including receipts for fuel and maintenance expenses.
• Log travel details such as routes taken, travel time, and work hours.
• Perform additional duties, including shopping, picking up and dropping off staff at the airport.
• Pay toll fees and any other vehicle-related charges as required.
• Execute any other duties assigned by the Head of Department.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Minimum Education Requirement: KCSE certification or higher.
• Experience: Over 3 years of professional driving experience with a valid Class B, C, E license.
• Proficiency in defensive driving and operation of both manual and automatic vehicles.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
• Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Team player with a proactive work ethic.
• Flexibility in working hours, including availability for odd hours when necessary.
