With deep roots in humanitarian response, peacebuilding, development strategy, and social impact, Voluntās is active across North and East Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, and Eastern Europe.

The organization works with international NGOs, UN bodies, donor agencies, and private sector actors to deliver cutting-edge insights in:

  • Governance, political economy, and informality
  • Conflict resolution, peacebuilding, and security
  • Gender equality, migration, and youth empowerment
  • Human rights, WASH, and food systems
  • Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL)

Voluntās is now recruiting for the National Analyst Program, an intensive 12-month capacity-building experience for early-career Kenyan professionals who aspire to contribute meaningfully to the humanitarian and development space.

This program is a launchpad for building a career in:

  • Evidence-based public policy
  • Research and analysis for international development
  • Social change consultancy and strategic advisory

The analyst will contribute directly to project delivery, client engagement, and institutional learning under the guidance of senior consultants. Many former analysts have advanced to full-time roles at Voluntās or continued with leading international organizations.

  • Put humbleness and hard work above good intentions: deliver, not just aspire

These are the cornerstones of professional growth and responsible global impact.

Ideal candidates should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Political Science, Economics, Public Health, International Law, Development Studies, or similar field
