Key Responsibilities
As the Manager – Talent Management, your primary responsibility is to execute the Talent Management Strategy effectively while leading your team to achieve organizational objectives. Key duties include:
Talent Acquisition and Resourcing
- Develop and implement employee resourcing plans aligned with the overall resourcing strategy.
- Conduct job analyses, prepare job descriptions in collaboration with Heads of Departments (HODs), and advertise vacant roles through multiple channels.
- Oversee the shortlisting process and conduct behavioral, competency-based, and psychometric interviews.
- Prepare and present detailed recruitment reports for management review.
Employee Engagement and Development
- Design and execute employee engagement programs to foster a motivated workforce.
- Develop and implement robust onboarding and staff development programs.
- Establish a coaching and mentorship framework to support professional growth.
- Oversee the design and delivery of e-learning courses, workshops, and onboarding sessions.
Rewards, Benefits, and Payroll Administration
- Implement the Bank’s Reward, Benefits, and Recognition Program as outlined in the policy.
- Ensure accurate and timely development of the monthly payroll.
- Administer staff medical schemes, pensions, leave schedules, and other documentation.
Training and Performance Management
- Conduct training needs analyses and develop tailored learning and growth initiatives.
- Oversee biannual and annual performance reviews to assess and enhance staff effectiveness.
- Develop and implement industrial attachment and internship programs to support emerging talent.
Culture and Staff Welfare
- Execute culture change programs in alignment with the Bank’s strategy.
- Ensure a positive work environment by addressing staff grievances and participating in disciplinary hearings.
- Develop and promote staff welfare initiatives that enhance job satisfaction and morale.
Strategic HR and Reporting
- Prepare and manage the Human Resource annual budgets.
- Generate periodic reports on HR activities and present them to senior management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or a related field.
- Higher National Diploma in HR is mandatory.
- CHRP (K) certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 7–8 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a talent management role at a management level.
